When I was hiking over the bald knob on the way to the Tri-State, we came upon a beautiful view that I cannot even describe. They say a picture is worth a thousand words; well this one was worth a million. It made me feel enlightened as I stood and stared at something so amazing, and it made me feel a love for the world and everything around it. It can make you see everything differently, or at least it can if you let it.
Thankfully I don’t have to find a far off view of the hills to feel this way. Beauty is all around me and can be found everywhere, in a view of the forest, or in a person’s eye as they are daydreaming. I can appreciate everything in the every day, even if I have seen it one thousand times, and will see it one thousand times more, I can still see the beauty every time I look at it.
So, look, and enjoy, and enlighten yourself with the beauty. I challenge every one of us to find the beauty in our every day lives, and see the world the way it is: beautiful in every way, shape and form.
