Saint Ralph tells the story of a 14-year-old boy who lost his dad in combat and whose mother goes into a coma due to a neurological disorder. Unaware of this, the Catholic school he attends requires him to join the track team to keep him out of trouble, because Ralph is very interested in women and gets in a few scraps as a result of it.
Ralph is told that it is very unlikely that his mother will awaken from her coma, and that it would take a miracle for her to recover. Ralph goes on a quest to make a miracle happen, so when his track coach tells him that it would be a miracle for him to win the Boston Marathon, Ralph believes it is the way to awaken his mother.
This movie shows that age has nothing to do with making something come true, but that hard work, determination, and perseverance toward a cause is what is required.
